Shimodate General Gymnasium

Shimodate General Gymnasium is the venue for home games of the Hitachi High-Tech Cougars, a member of the Japan Women's Basketball League.

Getting to the Stadium

The venue is in Ibaraki Prefecture, but if you are coming from the Tokyo area, Oyama Station is an easier venue to get to.
The distance from Oyama Station to Chikusei City Shimodate General Gymnasium is about 15 kilometers.
Since the park is built on the premise of access by car, there is basically enough space for parking.

Oyama Station

Oyama Station, where the Shinkansen stops, is the best place to get to the gymnasium if you want to take the train from Tokyo and rent a car at the nearest station.
Tokyo Oyama is about 45 minutes away by Shinkansen, and the gymnasium is about 30 minutes away by rental car.

Alternatively, you can use the Utsunomiya line, which has a lot of trains.
