Sun Marine Stadium Miyazaki is a baseball stadium in the Hinata Miyazaki Prefectural Comprehensive Sports Park in Miyazaki City, Miyazaki Prefecture.
It is the stadium where the Giants hold their camp.
It is also a stadium where official professional baseball games are sometimes held, with the Orix Buffaloes hosting games in 2018 and the SoftBank Hawks in 2021.
Getting to the Stadium
Miyazaki Sports Park is quite a large park.
The JR Nichinan Line connects Miyazaki Station to either Kibana Station or Undo-Koen Station, which is the closest station to the park, but even if you get off at Undo-Koen Station, you will still have to walk about 2 kilometers to get to Sun Marine Stadium Miyazaki.
In the case of San Marin Stadium, you can also use Kihana Station, but it's not as close as you might think, as it's about 1.5 kilometers one way from the station to the park.
If there is a shuttle bus service for official professional baseball games or camps, it would be smoother to use the shuttle bus.
If you are driving, there are quite a few parking spaces in the park, but parking is likely to be limited during events.
If you park far from the various venues, please remember where you parked as it is a large parking lot.
Normally, parking at this park is free on weekdays, but on weekends and event days, it costs 300 yen per day for a standard car, which you pay in cash when you leave.

Sun Marine Stadium Miyazaki has a roof over the back of the second floor seats behind the back nets (3F in the stadium's name). However, the area behind the last row of seats is in the vicinity of the stadium, so it may be difficult to keep out the rain, but it can be a good shelter from the sun.
About the seats
Each infield seat is a separate type of seat.
The orange seats on the first floor of the infield seats are seats with a "backrest".
The blue seats on the first and second floor of the infield seats are seats without a backrest.

If you go as far as Nichinan City, you will find a fully restored moai statue.
