Kashiwa Reysol competes in the J League, J1 division.

Kashiwa's long awaited dream came true in 2011.
After being demoted to J2 in 2009, Reysol won the J2 championship in 2010 and returned to J1 in 2011. In 2011, Reysol won the J2 championship and returned to J1. They defeated Reds on the final day of the season to become the first team in history to win their first J1 championship in their first year of promotion to J1.
