The Museum of Hanshin Koshien Stadium

Koshien Stadium is an old stadium with a very long history, and it hosts not only professional baseball games of the Hanshin baseball team, but also national high school baseball tournaments in spring and summer.
You can see the history of Koshien at the Koshien History Museum.
This museum is attached to the Koshien Stadium.
Even if you don't watch the games, you can enter the museum from the outside, so even if you don't have a game to watch, you can still enjoy the museum if you are a baseball fan.

Getting to the Museum

From JR Sannomiya Station, Sannomiya Station (Arrive at Shin-Kobe Station by Shinkansen Line)

If you arrive at "Shin-Kobe Station" by Shinkansen, Sannomiya Station is 1 stop from Shin-Kobe Station. Sannomiya Station is where railway companies such as JR and Hanshin Line(Private Line) gather including Kobe Sannomiya Station. You can go to Koshien Stadium from Kobe Sannomiya Station by Hanshin Main Line in 20 minutes without changing trains. Staying at Sannomiya is a very convenient and good choice, especially if going to Koshien Stadium is the main purpose of your trip.

From Osaka Umeda Station (Arrive at Shin-Osaka Station by Shinkansen Line)

If you arrive at Shin-Osaka Station by Shinkansen line, stay in the Umeda area is a good option. If you go to JR Osaka Station from Shin-Osaka Station by JR Kobe Line, it is Umeda area. From Osaka Umeda Station to Koshien Station, it takes about 15 minutes by Hanshin Main Line.

From Itami Airport (ITM)

If you arrive at Itami Airport, it is easier to go to Osaka Umeda Station by Osaka Monorail and Hankyu Takarazuka Line. Take the Osaka Monorail to Hotarugaike Station and transfer to the Hankyu Takarazuka Line. You will arrive at Osaka Umeda Station in about 25 minutes.

From Kansai International Airport (KIX)

From JR Kansai Airport Station, take the "Kansai Rapid Service Line (Kansai Kai-soku)" train bound for Kyobashi, and you will arrive at JR Osaka Station without transfer. It takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes to JR Osaka Station.

Professional Sports Teams in Hyogo

1. "Getting There & Around" Kobe, Akashi, Amagasaki, Nishinomiya, Takarazuka

From Tokyo, it takes about 2 hours and 45 minutes to get to Shin-Kobe Station by Shinkansen bullet train, and then take the subway to the accommodation area.
In Kobe, there are many hotels in Sannomiya (Sannomiya), so you will usually stay in this area.
Sannomiya station is only a few minutes away by subway from Shin-Kobe.

2. "Where to Stay" in Kobe, Akashi, Amagasaki, Nishinomiya, Takarazuka

The downtown area of Kobe is Sannomiya.
Sannomiya subway station, JR Sannomiya station, and Kobe Sannomiya station are all concentrated here, and many hotels are also located in this area.
If you arrive by Shinkansen, you will arrive at Shin-Kobe Station, but please note that the area around Shin-Kobe Station itself is not so developed.

3. "What to Do & See" in Kobe, Akashi, Amagasaki, Nishinomiya, Takarazuka

Meriken Park, Kobe Port Tower, and Kobe Harborland are all easy to visit in Kobe. You can get off at Minato-Motomachi Station, walk around Meriken Park, Kobe Port Tower, and Kobe Harborland, and take the train at Kobe Station.
In the Sannomiya area, Ikuta Shrine and Kitano Ijinkan Street are easy to get around on foot.

Takarazuka is known as the town of Takarazuka Revue as soon as you get off the station.
If your goal is to visit the Takarazuka Revue, you will be happy just to be at this station.
Takarazuka is also home to the Osamu Tezuka Memorial Museum, which can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot from the station.
