MGC Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Ice Arena (Niigata City Ice Arena)

MGC Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Ice Arena is a year-round skating rink located in Niigata City. This is where Mao Asada's Thanks Tour is sometimes held.
In the past, it has also hosted the All-Japan Junior Figurative Skating Championships.

Getting to the Stadium

MGC Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Ice Arena is located about 5 kilometers away from Niigata Station.
Usually, there is a shuttle bus service from the south exit of JR Niigata Station only on weekends. For more details, please check the skating rink's website.

The skate park has a parking lot that can hold about 100 cars, which is free for 3 hours for skate park users, but it may not be available during events, so please check with the organizer for information on temporary parking during events.

Niigata Station

Niigata Station is the last stop and first stop of the Joetsu Shinkansen Line.
Depending on the time of day, there may be only one train every hour, so please check the timetable before using the station.
If you want to go to Tsukioka Onsen from here, take the Hakushin Line to Toyosaka Station, where some hotels offer a shuttle service.
