Showa Denko Dome Oita (Oita Stadium)

The Showa Denko Dome Oita is the home of the J-League team, "Oita Trinita." It is an athletic stadium-type stadium located in the Oita Sports Park. It has hosted the 2002 Soccer World Cup and the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

Getting to the Stadium

On game days, a shuttle bus will be available from Oita Station. The one-way trip takes about 30 minutes, and the fare is 370 yen.

The parking lot around the stadium can hold nearly 4,000 cars. The parking lot at the stadium is for players and staff, so the general parking lot is a bit further away.

About the Stadium

As you can see in the picture, this stadium is made up of two levels of seating areas, only the main and back stands. Behind the goal line is one level of seating. Since there is a track for track and field events, it may be easier to watch a soccer game from the middle row up.
