The Okayama Budokan is the home of the Okayama Rivets, a member of the Table Tennis T-League.
It is located on the Okayama Prefectural General Ground, and in addition to the Okayama Budokan, there is also City Light Stadium and Zip Arena Okayama.
Getting to the Stadium
There are city buses from the west and east exits of Okayama Station, so it is easy to get there. If you walk, it will take about 30 minutes.
Bus
From the west exit of Okayama Station, take the Okaden bus for about 6 minutes and get off at "Budokan-mae" (200 yen fare).
It is about a 2-minute walk from the bus stop to the Okayama Budokan.
If your hotel is at the east exit, take the Okaden bus or the Chutetsu bus for 11 minutes and get off at "Budokan-guchi" (fare: 200 yen).
About the Stadium
The Okayama Budokan was opened as a venue for martial arts competitions, and in 2005 it was used for the Okayama National Athletic Meet.
