Zip Arena Okayama (Okayama Prefectural Ground Gymnasium)

Zip Arena Okayama is the home of the Okayama Seagulls, a member of the women's volleyball V1 League.
It is located in the Okayama Prefectural General Ground, where City Light Stadium and Okayama Budokan are located in addition to Zip Arena Okayama.

Getting to the Stadium

There are city buses from the west and east exits of Okayama Station, so it is easy to get there. If you walk, it will take about 30 minutes.

Bus

From the west exit of Okayama Station, take the Okaden bus for about 6 minutes and get off at "Budokan-mae" (200 yen fare).
It is about a 2-minute walk from the bus stop to the Okayama Budokan.
If your hotel is at the east exit, take the Okaden bus or the Chutetsu bus for 11 minutes and get off at "Budokan-guchi" (fare: 200 yen).

About the Stadium

Zip Arena Okayama hosts the V Premier League Women's Regular Rounds in Okayama every year from December to March, and was the venue for the gymnastics competition at the 2005 National Gymnastics Meet in Okayama, as well as basketball and professional wrestling events.
