Nippon Gaishi Arena

Nippon Gaishi Arena is a swimming pool in summer and an ice skating rink in winter, located in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. It is located across the street from the NGK Hall (Nagoya City General Gymnasium).

Getting to the Arena

About a 10-minute walk from JR Kasadera Station
(you can see the venue from the station)

From JR Nagoya Station, take the Tokaido Main Line toward Toyohashi and arrive at the nearest station, Kasadera Station, in about 15 minutes.
The venue is visible from the station and is about a 10-minute walk away.

This is Nippon Gaishi Arena for the winter skating rink.
Some of the larger skating-related events, such as the 2017 Grand Prix Final, are held at the Gaishi Hall, not here.

Nagoya Castle, the biggest tourist attraction in Nagoya, is about 2.5 kilometers away from Nagoya Station. It is not impossible to get there on foot from Nagoya Station, but subways or cabs are more convenient.
Kinjo-Futo Station, a 30-minute train ride from Nagoya Station, is home to Legoland and Linia Tekkenkan.
