Nagoya Castle
Nagoya Castle was built by the famous shogun Ieyasu Tokugawa. It is one of the three most famous castles in Japan. Nagoya Castle is also famous for its golden Shachihoko(often seen atop the tiled ridgepoles of castles, placed as ornamentation and fire prevention), which is a must-see tourist attraction. The property is very large, so if you walk around, you will probably need about an hour and a half to two hours.

Access:
From Nagoya Station, take the Higashiyama Line to Sakae Station, transfer to the Meijo Line, and get off at "Shiyakusho Mae(City Hall)" Station. Walk to the castle. If you use a rental bicycle, it will take about 10 to 15 minutes to get to Nagoya Castle from the station area.
Legoland
Legoland Japan is located about 30 minutes from the center of Nagoya City. Many trains go to LEGOLAND so that you can get there without stress. There is a Legoland Japan Hotel right in front of the entrance, and if you stay here, you can visit the park anytime you want. On the other side of the LEGOLAND station, there is the Linear-Railway Museum, so there are many things to see and do in this area.

Access:
From Nagoya Station, take the Aonami Line to the terminal station. Kinjofuto Station is the closest station to Legoland. The Aonami Line departs approximately every 10 minutes, and it takes less than 30 minutes without changing trains. You don't have to worry about making a mistake as you ride from the first station to the last station.
"Where to Stay" in Nagoya
Nagoya station is very large, so make sure you know in advance which exit is closest to the hotel you plan to stay at.
There are signs like the one in the picture below on the station platform and inside the station, so make sure to check before you move.
