Sushi

Sushi is known as one of the most typical foods in Japan. There are two main types of sushi restaurants.

One is an authentic sushi restaurant, where the chef stands in front of the counter and makes the sushi on the spot. However, the price is rather expensive, so even if you live in Japan, many people feel that they can only go to an authentic sushi restaurant on a very special occasion. The other type of sushi restaurant that you can casually go-to is ”Kaiten Sushi.” "Kaiten Sushi" is also known as "Conveyor Belt Sushi" or "Revolving Sushi" in other countries.

Kaiten Sushi is very popular in Japan now because it is reasonably priced and you can easily go there by yourself or with your family. The freshness of the seafood is the main selling point of all kaiten-sushi restaurants, so you can enjoy very high-quality sushi.

There are two types of kaiten Sushi restaurants: those that keep their prices as low as possible and those that serve high-quality sushi at slightly higher prices. In both cases, there is nothing wrong with the freshness of the seafood.
