Tempuku Stadium is a baseball stadium located in Nichinan City, Miyazaki Prefecture.
The nearest station, Aburatsu Station, is decorated with Hiroshima Carp designs, and the shopping street, a five-minute walk from the station, is called the Aburatsu Carp Shopping Street, where the Aburatsu Carp Museum is located.
Getting to the Stadium
The location of the Tenpuku Baseball Stadium is quite good.
The first train to Aburatsu Station is at 5:20am, and the next at 6:40am. The first train to Aburatsu Station is at 5:20am, and the next at 6:40am. It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Miyazaki to Aburatsu Station, so if you want to get there early during the camp, you can use this train.
The next trains are at 9:10am and 10:30am.

Straight in front of the station is the Aburatsu Carp Shopping Arcade, where you can also eat and drink.
If you are driving, there is a parking lot at the stadium, but you probably won't be able to park your car there during the camp.

Temporary parking lot: Nishimachi Parking Lot in front of Aburatsu Fishing Cooperative Association in Nichinan City (free shuttle service available)
It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to walk from the temporary parking lot to the stadium, so it may be smoother to walk.

There are also monuments related to the Hiroshima Carp outside the stadium at Tenpuku Stadium.

The capacity does not include the Lawn, so the stadium can actually attract more people. The back rows behind the back nets of the stands have roofs.
Each seat is independent, but without a backrest.
Outside the stadium
The monument to the right of the entrance behind the back net is marked with the owner, past managers and players.
Behind center in the outfield is the indoor practice field and bullpen.

Miyazaki Jingu Shrine, where the first Emperor Jinmu is enshrined, and Heiwadai Park, where the 37-meter high Peace Tower is located, are some of the tourist attractions near Miyazaki City. Although it is a bit far away, Aoshima Shrine can also be reached by train, which is about an hour from the city.
If you go as far as Nichinan City, you will find a fully restored moai statue.
Also nearby is the Uto Shrine, located in the middle of a cliff.

When it comes to Miyazaki's gourmet food, chicken is the best.
Chicken Nanban and Jidori Charcoal Grilled Chicken are always on my list of things to eat.
In Miyazaki, the downtown area is about a 10-minute walk from the train station, and the stores are clustered in that area. Ogura Honten, famous for its chicken nanban, is also located in this area.
