From Sapporo it is convenient to take the Hokkaido Chuo Bus "Iwanai go".
It takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes from the bus terminal at Sapporo Station to Yoichi Station and the fare is 1110 yen.
There is a beautiful city called Otaru on the way to Yoichi by JR train, it might be good to stop by Otaru if you have time. But there are few trains to Yoichi, so please make a plan properly.
Yoichi Town General Gymnasium is a little far from Yoichi station, about 1.5 kilometers and about 20 minutes by walk. You can walk on warm days, but it seems to be a bit hard in cold winter.
