Otaru Sakuragaoka Baseball Stadium

In the 1950s, professional baseball was held at Otaru Sakuragaoka Baseball Stadium. It is one of the most historic stadiums in Japan. The stadium is in Otaru Park, and Otaru General Gymnasium is also nearby.

Getting to the Stadium

From Sapporo to Otaru Station
It takes about 45 minutes from Sapporo to Otaru by Hakodate Line and about 35 minutes by rapid train (Kai-soku Airport).
If it is an event in the daytime, a day trip from Sapporo might be a good idea.

From Otaru station to the stadium (Otaru Park).
It's about 1.5 kilometers from Otaru Station to Otaru Park, so it takes about 20 minutes by walk.
