Okinawa City Stadium is located in the Koza Athletic Park in Okinawa City.
The Koza Sports Park includes the newly built Okinawa Arena, the Okinawa City Gymnasium, the Okinawa City Stadium, the Koza Shinkin Stadium, and the Koza Shinkin Dome.
Until 2014, Ryukyu FC of the J-League (J2) used Okinawa City Athletic Stadium as their main home stadium, but now they use Tapic Kenso Hiyagon Stadium as their main home stadium.
In addition to this, Koza Sports Park is home to the training camp of Hiroshima Carp, professional baseball team and the home of Ryukyu Golden Kings of the B League.
Getting to the Stadium
The location of the Koza Sports Park is less than 30 kilometers from the Naha Airport area.
If there are no traffic jams, it will take less than 40 minutes to drive there, but it is basically a very congested drive from Naha City to the highway, so you should expect it to take about an hour.
Considering that there are few hotels around Koza Sports Park, this is an area where you will need a car.
The park's parking lot will hold 700 cars.
About the Stadium
Koza Sports Park is vast. When you arrive at the Okinawa Arena side, the baseball field area is about a 15-minute walk away.
