Gushikawa Dome

Gushikawa Dome is an event facility located in Gushikawa Athletic Park, Uruma City.

The Okinawa Grand Sumo Tournament is being held at the Gushikawa Dome.

Gushikawa Athletic Park is where the second team of the Rakuten Eagles, a professional baseball team, holds their training camp.
(The First team of the Rakuten Eagles camp at Kin-cho Baseball Stadium.)

Getting to the Stadium

The location of the Gushikawa Dome is about 40 kilometers from the Naha Airport area.
If there is no traffic jam, it will take about 45 minutes by car, but it is generally very congested from Naha city to the highway, so you should expect to spend about 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Considering that there are few hotels around Gushikawa Stadium, this is an area where you will need a car.

The park has a parking lot for about 200 cars.
