Ishikawa Sports Center

Ishikawa Sports Center is the arena that hosts the home matches of the PFU Blue Cats, a member of the Volleyball and V-League Division 1.
In the past, it has also hosted the Asian Championships in weightlifting.

Getting to the Stadium

By car

Ishikawa Sports Center is a gymnasium located in Seibu Ryokuchi Park.
This venue is basically accessible by car.
Parking at the park may not be available on event days, so please be sure to check the organizer's announcement.

By Bus

From Kanazawa Station, the bus bound for Saiseikai Hospital stops at the bus stop in front of Seibu Ryokuchi Park near the stadium.
The bus runs about once an hour. There are no buses at night, so please check the timetable carefully before using the bus.

The major station in Ishikawa Prefecture is Kanazawa Station. Kanazawa Station can be reached conveniently by Shinkansen Line or, if you are coming from the Kansai area, by limited express train.

If you take the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tokyo, you can get to Kanazawa in about three hours. The Kansai area takes less than three hours to reach Kanazawa on the limited express "Thunderbird." From Nagoya, it takes about 3 hours by the limited express "Shirasagi."

Kenrokuen, a famous tourist spot in Kanazawa, is one of the three most famous gardens in Japan, along with Korakuen Garden in Okayama City and Kairakuen Garden in Mito City. It is about two kilometers from Kanazawa Station.
At Higashi Chaya-machi, you can see the old streets where you can feel the Japanese historical culture and enjoy meals.

Kanazawa is a famous tourist city where you can enjoy both the sea and the mountains, so you have many choices of places to eat. You can eat ”nodoguro (red mullet)," Kanazawa curry, and gold leaf soft ice cream. The Hokuriku region is famous for its seafood, and especially in winter (December to February), yellowtail is in season and is also delicious.
