TamaHome Stadium Chikugo is a baseball stadium located in Chikugo Regional Park in Chikugo City, Fukuoka Prefecture. It is the home of the second and third teams of the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks.
Getting to the Stadium
This stadium is located right next to Chikugo Funakoya Station. If you arrive at Chikugo Funakoya Station, you can see it from the station.
It is also a stop on the JR Kyushu Shinkansen line (connecting Hakata to Kagoshima), so if you can catch the Shinkansen that stops at Chikugo Funakoya Station, you can get there in about 30 minutes from Hakata.
If you have a good connection to a conventional train, it will take about an hour from Hakata.

From Fukuoka, it takes about 50 minutes to get to Yanagawa by taking the limited express train bound for Omuta from Nishitetsu Fukuoka Station.
Omuta is about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Fukuoka by JR or Nishitetsu.
Kurume can be reached in about 40 minutes by JR or 20 minutes by Shinkansen.

Kurume, Omuta, and Yanagawa all have hotels near their stations.
However, there are fewer hotel options than in Fukuoka City, and it is not that far from Fukuoka, so you may want to consider Fukuoka as a base for access.

Yanagawa is famous for its river rafting sightseeing. It takes about an hour to see the castle town of the Yanagawa clan from the river. Shotoen is also worth a visit.
