Daishin Baseball Stadium is a baseball stadium located in Aomori City, Aomori Prefecture.
The stadium has hosted professional baseball games in the 1950s, and on June 28, 1950, Hideo Fujimoto, a pitcher for the Yomiuri Giants, played the first perfect game in the history of Japanese professional baseball.
A stone monument commemorating that perfect game was erected in front of the stadium.
Getting to the Stadium
Daishin Baseball Stadium is a baseball stadium located in Gappo Koen Park in Aomori City. If you take the Shinkansen to Aomori, you will arrive at Shin-Aomori Station, but it is about 8 kilometers away from Shin-Aomori Station to Gappo Koen Park.
Renting a car is convenient for sightseeing in Aomori, but you can take a city bus from Aomori Station to Gappo Koen Park.
