Yamashin Swimming Arena is a swimming pool and skating rink facility in the Kasamatsu Sports Park in Ibaraki Prefecture. It is the main swimming pool in the summer and a skating rink in the winter.
In the past, the arena has hosted the former Japan Junior Figurative Skating Championships. The spectator seats are located only on one side of the stands.
Kasamatsu Sports Park spans Hitachinaka City, Naka City, and Tokai Village in Naka District.
Therefore, the track and field stadium in the same park is in Naka City, Ibaraki Prefecture, while the Yamashin Swimming Arena has an address in Hitachinaka City, but is in the same park.
Getting to the Stadium
It is about 15 kilometers away from Mito Station to Kasamatsu Athletic Park.
The nearest station is Sawa Station, but considering the fact that it is about 3.5 km away from the station (and the park is big, so you will have to walk even inside the park), the venue is accessible by car.

Kasamatsu Sports Park is quite a large park, and there are several parking lots at different points. There are several parking lots at different points, with a total capacity of nearly 2,700 cars.
