Yokohama Stadium

Yokohama Stadium in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture is the home of the Yokohama DeNA BayStars. Yokohama Stadium will be used as the venue for baseball and softball at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.

Getting to the Stadium

The nearest station to Yokohama Stadium is the JR Keihin-Tohoku Line "Kannai Station". You can see the stadium from the station, and it takes about 5 minutes walk to the stadium.

From Tokyo Station:

Route#1: Take the Keihin-Tohoku Line to Kannai Station without change trains. 50 min.

Route#2: Take Tokaido Line (Local, Ueno/Tokyo Rapid etc. It is same track#) to Yokohama Station, and change to Keihin-Tohoku Line to Kannai Station (2 stops).

From Shinagawa Station:

Route#1: Take the Keihin-Tohoku Line to Kannai Station without change trains. 35 min.

About the Stadium

Yokohama Stadium has a single "Level" seating except for the upper level behind the plate. In most Japanese stadiums, the entrance gate is designated by the seating section (It is printed on the ticket). The upper layer of the seats newly added in the outfield must go up the stairs quite a lot.
