Hiroshima Koiki Park Football Stadium No.1

Hiroshima Koiki Park Football Stadium No.1 is a stadium located in Hiroshima Koiki Park, which is also home to Edion Stadium Hiroshima, the home of J-League team Sanfrecce Hiroshima, and Hiroshima Koen Stadium No. 2. Prior to its opening, the stadium hosted the Asian Cup in 1992 and the FIFA U-17 World Championship in 1993.

It has also hosted the finals of the Hiroshima preliminary round of the National High School Soccer Championship, and the finals of the National High School Soccer Championship when Edion Stadium Hiroshima could not be used.

Getting to the Stadium

Hiroshima Koiki Park Football Stadium No.1 is located in the northwestern part of Hiroshima City, and is conveniently accessible from Hiroshima City using the Astram streetcar.

Train

From Hondori Station in Kamiyacho, take the Astram to Koiki Koen-mae Station (37 minutes), and then walk 10 minutes to Hiroshima Koiki Park Football Stadium.
It is convenient to use Hondori Station if you are coming from the Peace Memorial Park area, or Kencho-mae Station or Johoku Station if you are coming from the Hiroshima Castle area. The fare from Hondori Station and Kencho-mae Station is 490 yen each way, and 450 yen from Johoku Station.

Car

Hiroshima Koiki Park Football Stadium is about a 20-minute drive from the center of Hiroshima City, and there are 720 parking spaces available at Hiroshima Koen Park.
